NCH Tone Generator is an application where its users can create waveforms using a sound card or speakers. The program is capable of generating sine, square, triangle, saw tooth, impulse, and noise waveforms using Windows, Mac or Pocket PCs with ease.
The program is used to create audio test tones, sweeps or noise waveforms; it generates sine waves, frequencies, and signals from a computer or a handheld PC. It can generate different wave forms at any frequency the available sound card can produce (supports frequencies from 1Hz to 22kHz bandwidth).
NCH Tone Generator helps to test and tune loudspeakers, audio devices or complete sound systems, analyze sound frequencies, and create sound effects. Also users are able to make dual tones (beats) with mono or separate stereo operation. All tones and signals created can be saved as a .WAV file in order to make a test tone CD.
New in this version there is Windows 7 support, and the ability to create 1 to 16 tones at the same time to create harmonics.
NCH Tone Generator is useful for tuning music instruments, acoustics testing, testing sound cards, band signaling, hearing tests and more.
