Magia is an estimating software for Electrical Contractors and Electrical Estimators. To aid electrical estimating Magia provides material pricing and labor hours on a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Microsoft Excel is not included but is required in order to fully utilize the features of Magia. Once the material pricing and labor hours are input into the spreadsheet the Electrical Contractor must apply their labor costs, other additional costs (like rental equipment costs and travel costs), overhead and profit to create a complete Project Price. Magia Electrical Estimating contains basic Electrical Estimating Assemblies and is easily adaptable to residential, commercial and industrial electrical pricing. The software works in two modes both as a stand-alone program and with Microsoft Excel. Material pricing is updated via Trade Services' TRA-SER SX Electrical Material Pricing System. The software works in two modes both as a stand-alone program and as a Microsoft Excel Add-In. The stand-alone mode is best for material updating and creation of additional units. The Microsoft Excel Add-In is best for Electrical Estimating Take-offs and Electrical Material Pricing. The software is free to download and a thirty day evaluation trial is available.
