Active Desktop is the additive to Windows which expands standard graphic opportunities of display of the information on a desktop of your computer. There are three totally different variants of desktops.
One of them is the clock, with a screen-wide clock-face and hands running around it; the icons are arranged alongside the perimeter of the clock, and also can run around with speed you set for them (0 (default) stands for the static icons). The second desktop variant is cosmos-themed InfoStar, looking like an oblong viewing port, with icons arranged under and above it and flickering stars on the black sky. The third variant is the FairyLand.
All of these variants have additional action buttons on the desktop, alongside the icons; such as Start, Shutdown or even Empty Recycle. So, Active Desktop is the patented remedy for making your desktop active and beautiful.
