It is a neurological assessment tool developed in/for Microsoft Office Access and is based on Modified Glasgow Coma Scale for Children that is the most widely used scoring system used in quantifying level of consciousness following traumatic brain injury. One of the components of the Glasgow coma scale is the best verbal response which cannot be assessed in nonverbal small children. It is used primarily because it is simple, has a relatively high degree of interobserver reliability. It is easy to use. The score represents the sum of the numeric scores of each of the categories.
