The software has been designed as universal program for surveillance hybrid platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal look and functionality on the local and remote workstations. Users watch MPEG coded picture and have full control of the software through net that security workstation can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure drastically improves reliability because all modules work as autonomous software. If one part fails, other parts continue working. For example if the `record` component stops working, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` module. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be started by activity, human face detection, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant computer via Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
