The purpose of the PTS program is to facilitate the work of the congregation public talk coordinator. A key feature of the program is the capability of automatically and seamlessly sharing congregation, speaker and talk data with other public talk coordinators in your area. Any updates you make to your local congregation’s data will be automatically distributed to the public talk coordinators in the congregations with whom you share speakers.
Likewise, any changes made by those neighboring public talk coordinators will find its way to your computer system so that you will always have an up-to-date list of the available speakers and the public talk outlines they have prepared. Therefore, the only list of speakers and talks that you will have to maintain yourself is that of your own congregation.
Another feature the program provides is the ability to see at a glance when any outline was last given in your congregation. If you're booking outgoing speakers on behalf of your body of elders, you will also find PTS a valuable tool. It will help you keep track of who is out on a particular day so that you do not overbook by assigning too many of the local elders out at one time.
