Visual protocol Simulator software is a complete integrated development environment (IDE) to design, simulate, analyze, log, monitor and integration testing proprietary or standard communication protocols, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to transfer files from one host to another and text messaging between two devices. The VPS is enhanced with a project management structure for multi projects environment. For instant you can group all of your packets in one VPS project. You can create multiple projects. You can easily import packets among your projects. VPS is simple and easy to use, no scripting is required. You could simply open the simulator dialog box type in your bytes and click RUN to send, click SAVE when done to save your work. VPS packets bytes can be associated with window controls such as edit box, spin box, comb box, radio and check buttons giving the data a visualized form for easy read and manipulation. Radio and Check buttons are designed to handle bitfield manipulation. VPS adopts a unidirectional communication method with Master-Slave dynamic suited for the serial port physical component. VPS software output the packets data on RS232 serial communication port. The serial signals can be easily converted into a different form of interface such as SPI, RS485 and UAR. VPS packet structure consists of a header, data payload and footer. VPS packets can be enhanced with optional standard cyclic redundancy check (CRC) functions such as CRC16, CITT Xmodem and Modulo 255. Other CRCs can be added upon request. VPS packets can be enhanced with an option to auto calculate the packet data payload length. VPS software includes predefined packets to help you get started. In addition, VPS help menu have well documented tutorials and examples. VPS software runs on Microsoft windows operating system.
