RADIUS is a security authentication client/server protocol widely used by client devices to access resources on remote servers. RADIUS is an industry standard protocol (RFCs 2865 and 2866, "Remote Authentication Dial-in User Service (RADIUS)" and "RADIUS Accounting") for providing Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting services for distributed networking. A RADIUS client, typically a VoIP server (SIP Server, VoIP Gateway) sends user and connection information to a RADIUS server.
RadiusCat supports ANI (Caller-ID) type billing for Prepaid or Postpaid scenarios, Calling Card applications and IVR type systems that use an account/pin combination. RadiusCat's EndPoint feature provides wholesale termination services for Wholesale VoIP providers. The RadiusCat Web Console allows web access for customers, agents and administrator accounts.
