IC Imaging Control is a family of image acquisition components that offers developers easy programmatic access to WDM video sources: Set and adjust device parameters; save images and sequences; compress data with codecs; overlay graphics and text on live stream; event controlled image processing; unlimited support free of charge; vast library of sample applications. IC Imaging Control supports all image acquisition hardware for which a WDM Stream Class driver is available. This includes cameras, frame grabbers and video converters manufactured by The Imaging Source and cameras manufactured by Sony and Teli. WDM Stream Class drivers delegate a large part of the interaction with the device to the operating system. This has the advantage that with fewer lines of code, a developer can create a streamlined driver and one that works at great efficiency, in comparison to traditional drivers.
