The program has been designed as general program for security hybrid platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar look and functionality on the local and distant workstations. Users view MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete management of the program via network that surveillance pc can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular configuration extensively increases reliability because all components act as autonomous software. If one module stops working, other components keep on working. For example if the `capture` part stops working, `watchdog` restarts it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture using a `playback` unit. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be triggered by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on distant workstation via Web interface. The software does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
