CTFileFilter works with multi Gigabyte data files as well as small files and is intended to help users search, extract, filter, and collate data from raw data quickly and efficiently.

The fast search facility enables you to quickly find search criteria of lists or individual items from within your files on your PC or network location. You can additionally filter the searches with date criteria, additional phrased to include/exclude. The built in filtering enables you to quickly produce lists of information from log files, data records, program code, XML record, or any plain text data file.

With its advanced filtering features you can also bring back complete records of information, or just the line labels of information you require.

CTFileFilter also has a large range of facilities to allow you to view and update CSV files as well as move columns of data around or add new columns in, pad or trim data columns and convert and conditionally filter rows of data. It even converts XML to flat CSV files.

If you regularly work with large comma separated files (CSV or other delimited files), text or XML raw data, then you need CTFileFilter.

All processes can be saved as macros so that you can re-run complex procedures easily with a couple of clicks. With a built in FTP and emailing facility CTFileFilter enables you to automatically download , edit data and transfer your filtered information to your waiting clients.
