DriverTools

In a nutshell, DriverTools automatically updates your device drivers so that you don't have to do it.

DriverTools identifies your PC's brand, operating system, and version. Then it does the same thing for your printer, CD drive - basically everything that has a driver. It scans to see if any hardware connected to your PC needs a new driver. It finds one of our safe, tested drivers and installs it on your computer, while backing up the old driver. Then it emails you about the new driver. DriverTools scans again every 24 hours, and the whole cycle repeats itself, keeping your system running smoothly and at optimal performance.

DriverTools maintains a vast, ever-growing library of device drivers for everything your computer needs to run. Our spiders and bots constantly are in contact with all manufacturers to find new drivers.

When we find a new driver, we take it to our testing lab. This lab has every system and configuration we've ever heard of, even the old ones that practically nobody uses any more. We test the new driver rigorously on every applicable system and application. We check the driver for viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and malware. Basically, we really try to break the driver so that we can make sure it's 100% safe for our customers.

When you add a new device, DriverTools scans that device, just as it scanned every device. It checks to see if there is an updated driver for that device. (Even brand-new devices sometimes need updated drivers.) Then DriverTools goes through its usual routine. All this is done automatically after you install the software. You don't need to do anything but that.
