F.A.S.T. CBM is a reservoir engineering toolkit that is used for coalbed methane field development and reservoir analysis. Its production data analysis tools, including analytical and numerical reservoir models, can be used to history match the production data, estimate reservoir properties and generate gas/water production forecasts. F.A.S.T. CBM includes several reserve evaluation tools including volumetric calculations, conventional decline, static/flowing material balance, and Agarwal-Gardner typecurves (for dry coals). It also performs risk analysis using Monte Carlo simulations. Its production monitoring module can be used to monitor the production of new wells.
