The program has been created as general software for surveillance hybrid platforms running all together with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal look and functionality on the local and apart pcs. Users view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the program through network that surveillance station can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular configuration extensively improves reliability because all parts act as independent software. If one component stops working, other modules go on working. For example if the `capture` component stops working, `watchdog` starts again it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture using a `playback` part. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be started by motion, human face recognition, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on remote workstation via Web interface. The software performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
