For example if the `record` unit stops working, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video through a `playback` part. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be started by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance server as well as on remote workstation via Web interface. The software does synchronized video playback for event analysis from many cameras at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
