The program has been created as common application for security cross platforms running concurrently with wireless and wired Internet cameras, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same appearance and controls on the local and distant workstations. Users see MPEG coded video and have full management of the program using net that surveillance computer can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition considerably boosts reliability because all components act as independent software. If one component fails, other components keep on running. For example if the `capture` module freezes, `watchdog` starts again it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` component. The program makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on apart computer via Web interface. The software makes synchronized video playback for event analysis from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
