The software has been designed as universal software for surveillance hybrid platforms running all together with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and apart computers. Customers see MPEG coded picture and have full management of the program using net that surveillance computer can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition drastically improves reliability because all modules work as autonomous applications. If one unit fails, other components continue running. For example if the `capture` module freezes, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` module. The program does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be triggered by activity, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant pc through Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
