Cobynsoft?s AD Search is a simple to use, yet sophisticated, freeware application that allows you to quickly retrieve, search, filter, group, export, and print Active Directory objects. Cobynsoft?s AD Search performs a global search of computer, user, group, and organizational unit objects providing for quick overview of where the matched objects resides in your Active Directory.

Search for any keyword and the global search will return any matches whether it is a user object or computer object. Global search even returns group objects and organizational units if there is a match. Now you can search the directory without having to know the object type or the organizational unit the object is in.

Take advantage of the filtering features allowing you to apply filters to one or more columns to really narrow down your search. Using the filter manager you can choose between advanced filtering commands such as like, contains, and many more.

Grouping allows you to group the data by a particular column. For instance you can group by object type so that in your search results computer objects are listed together and user objects are listed together.

By enabling keyword highlighting your search keywords are highlighted within the search results so that you can easily see why the particular entry was included in your search result.

Double-click a search result entry to open the objects property window in order to review the objects attributes.

At the click of a button you can export your search results to either a HTML, Microsoft Excel, or to a PDF file. Additional export formats are available through the Print Preview.

The built-in Print Preview window allows you to print, export, or email your search results.
