Virtual Sculptor is an innovative CAD/CAM application designed for optimal performance in relief surface sculpting and 3-axis machining (VS3D). The traditional CAD/CAM systems tend to bog down on the large amount of data required to represent a detailed sculpted surface. This program uses an efficient internal data representation, allowing it to manipulate complex relief surfaces with ease. This has many benefits, including the ability to visualize the cutting results of proposed tool paths before any material is actually cut.
