IM ToolPack is a very light screen capture and editing tool. It allows you to take screen captures of almost anything on your screen. To make this task very easy, the application locates a small toolbar that floats over your screen. When you want to take a screenshot, you simply click on the camera icon and select the region of the screen to take a screenshot of and the application will do so. After the screenshot has been taken, it will launch a small picture editor from where you can further crop your image, add shapes or pencil strokes and even text. From there, you can either save your picture as a JPG or PNG image or use the great "send" feature.
IM ToolPack automatically uploads pictures to a server of its own and gives you a link to those pictures. Images are stored on the servers for 30 days, but if you register to get an account , image retention will be extended considerably. If you simply want to casually send screenshots to people, you don't need more than 30 days though. For each screenshot that you "send" you get a direct URL to the image, HTML code to post on your website or blog, and links to post your images on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace or to send it by e-mail.
IM ToolPack supports hotkeys and several IM clients for easy sending. All in all, it is a very quick app, which is intuitive and very easy to use.
