The program has been designed as general product for surveillance hybrid platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and controls on the local and remote workstations. Customers view MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete management of the program via network that surveillance station can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular composition extensively increases reliability because all units act as autonomous applications. If one unit fails, other parts go on running. For instance if the `capture` unit fails, `watchdog` starts again it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video through a `playback` component. The program makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be started by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on distant server via Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
