Folder SafeBox is an extremely simple application devised to allow you to encrypt, protect, and hide your sensitive data away from unwanted hands. Simply drag and drop any number of files and folders to the box provided and they will vanish from sight, just as if you were locking them up in a real safety box.

Actually, the program works very much like safety boxes do. The first thing you will be asked to do is create a password, just as the PIN or the key combination required to lock and unlock a safety box. This password will prevent unwanted access to the program itself (i.e., the access to the box), as you will not be able to open it again without it. Folder SafeBox will encrypt as many folders and files as required, showing you a list of all the folders you dropped in it. You are given two options – you may create an encrypted copy of the folder inside the box and leave the original folder in its original location, or move the encrypted folder into the box, which will delete the original folder. The first option is extremely useful when carrying sensitive data with you when on the move, as the program allows you to export all the encrypted folders by creating convenient .bak files. All folders copied or moved into the SafeBox can be easily taken out of it just by dragging the folder back to its original location. All in all, a simple and effective solution.
