Features of the Windows Serial Communications Library (WSC4VB) include: Uses the standard Windows API to communicate with any device connected to a serial port (scale, modem, fingerprint scanner, printer servers, routers, etc). Works with PowerBuilder and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) (e.g. Access, Excel, MS Office). Does not depend on support libraries. Makes calls to Windows API functions only. Can also use with Delphi, Visual C++, C#, VC.NET, PowerBASIC, Visual FoxPro, Visual dBase, Xbase++, and COBOL. Can be used with managed code. Can be ordered with or without source code for the DLL.
