Convert DVD to AVI is a program to rip DVDs to other formats. This program is able to convert the .VOB files that can be found in any commercial DVD to other popular formats, such as DivX, Xvid, H264/AVC, MPEG4, MPEG2, WMV, Flash video, Quicktime MOV, PSP or MP3. This way, you will be able to prepare your favorite movies to be played in other devices, for example, your computer, a Play Station, an MP4 or MP3 player or even a web page. The interface of the program is pretty simple. You will have to choose your DVD drive from the drop down menu. Then you will need to insert a DVD in that drive. The program will detect the .VOB files in your VIDEO_TS folder, and will put them in the second drop-down list. From that menu you will be able to choose the video you want to convert. If you're not sure, you can view the content of the selected file in the built-in player by clicking on the "Preview" button. Then you can choose the format of the target file and the folder where you want it to be saved. After that the program will start converting the selected file.
