TTS is offered for free for non-commercial purposes or with a small fee otherwise. The basic target of the pesto! TTS project is to offer to the community a free speech synthesis tool, along with a programming interface, to add voice in applications and services. pesto! TTS has small-footprint specifications so that it can be easily ported, adapted, embedded and distributed, while it can be extended with further functionality and resources.
