Downloading SnowFall 1.1

SnowFall screensaver provides you with an infinite floating stream of gentle snowflakes that drift across your monitor screen over a bright-colored background, whenever your monitor goes into standby mode. The snowflake images displayed are from the outstanding snowflake photographic collection belonging to the photographer Wilson A. Bentley (1865-1931), who was the first person to discover that no two snowflakes are alike. Wilson was also the first person to photograph a single snow crystal in 1885 and he recognized that every crystal was a masterpiece of design. Affectionately known as "Snowflake Bentley", he captured more that five thousand snowflake crystal images from real snowflakes and your SnowFall snowflakes are actual images from his collection.

There are various configuration options for you to choose from to set up your own preferences for your screen saver display. For example, your snowflakes can be rendered in 3D, 2D, or flat graphical images and a new feature in this version of the program allows you to increase the number of snowflakes displayed from 250 to 1000. Another new feature that you can use when selecting your configurations is the Quality option. You can set the Quality option to a medium or low texture quality, which will make your snowflakes display as slightly blurry or misty. In these low quality settings your snowflakes are drawn quicker.
