Poofik is a nice platform game in which you are a cute raccoon. As in any platform game, your job is to explore the different levels and collect gold and silver coins as well as fruits that give you energy to continue playing. Of course, there are also enemies (bees, armadillos, caterpillars, among others) which you must avoid or jump over their heads to kill them. Your progress is saved, so if you die all the things you collected and the points you got are saved for you to compare the results. You are given three lives at the beginning and you can collect more on your way, but of course if you lose them all, you have to start all over again from scratch.
Unfortunately, there's only one game mode and it doesn't have too much variety. The backgrounds and enemies are the same for all the levels and the only thing actually changing are the platforms and the things to catch.
Regarding the graphics, they are pretty good and detailed, with cute cartoonish characters and backgrounds. Sound effects are OK and the music is nice, but a bit repetitive.
All in all, Poofik is just a simple platform game that may work to kill some time, but it doesn't have much things to do and you may get bored after some time.
