KIdspiration is a visual learning tool to greatly improve numeracy and literacy in learners. Created especially for K-5 students, Kidspiration aims to enhance comprehension and learning through visual learning principles.
The colourful, talking interface creates an interactive environment that will quickly engage learners, while the easy-to-use interface has a low learning curve to quickly get them up to speed. The interface can be switched between picture and writing views, or to the visual math tools interface to help learners comprehend abstract math concepts in a snap.
In all these views (except the math view) the integrated word guide is available with the click of a button. The word guide interface can pronounce the word, use the word in examples and suggest synonyms or antonyms, which will help to strengthen kids’ writing skills and expand their literacy while completing tasks.
Teachers will love to use Kidspiration to create lesson plans on the fly. Great online teachers’ resources include an active online community and extensive lesson plan examples. Lesson plans are available for reading and writing, maths, science, and social studies.
The extra teachers’ menu adds extra functionality for teachers to import their own symbol libraries, change application options and set their preferred word processor, like Microsoft Word.
