DirectMath is an easy to use alternative front end for the Mathematica computer algebra system.
The DirectMath system is designed to make it easy to do calculations all at once or step by step, using a pattern matching system to anticipate the calculation you want to perform from the structure of any item you select. To perform a calculation, simply select the thing you want to calculate and press shift-return.
