PowerTCP FTP Free 0.9.5 is a complete FTP client application that transfers files between your desktop and any server over FTP.
This utility allows to transfer files securely and can be set up to transfer files via FTPS. On the Server manager option you can create a new server, rename, copy or delete it. Also on each server must be set it up with the information related to its connection: Host, Port, Server type, login type, username, password, etc.; Advanced options provide more control on the connections; you can also verify certificates and configure proxy options in case required. You can choose among four types of server:
• FTP-File Transfer Protocol
• Explicit SFTP – FTP over Explicit TSL/SSL
• Implicit SFTP – FTP over Implicit TSL/SSL
• Implicit Login SFTP – FTP over Implicit TSL/SSL
Another feature is the Quick Connect option to connect quickly to a server previously created it on the server manager. It supports Mode Z compression to make faster your file transfers. It supports Drag and Drop functionality to download and upload files. This utility queue files for batch transferring and also provides information on completed and failed transfers. It provides all the time feedback on the progress of your transfers. This utility transfers entire folders and directories.
The GUI is very easy and friendly to the user. The installation process is very simple and easy to perform. It requires .NET Framework 1.x, 2.0, or 3.5 to install and work. There is no documentation available on the program.
