The DumpTimer is intended to backup MySQL databases and tables periodically. It also allows the transfer of a MySQL database and MySQL tables between different MySQL servers.
If MySQL databases are hosted remote on webservers, they are often located behind firewalls, and therefore blocked from the access through standard database administration tools. DumpTimer solve these problems by using a small PHP script.
