Mozart9, also known as the music processor, is music notation software for computers running Windows. It has been successfully tested in Linux systems using the Wine simulation environment.
Mozart allows you to type in music notation as easily as entering text in a word processor, view it on the screen, hear it, edit it, and print high quality music scores as a whole and/or the individual parts for musicians. In principle it is just like a word processor and its options are plenty of shortcut keys, but remember that music is a bit more complicated than text; then it uses its own file format: *.mz
With Mozart you can create printed music quickly by using its built-in understanding of music syntax. You can also enter your music from your computer’s keyboard or mouse, or from a connected MIDI music keyboard. You can save your Mozart pieces and print them with Mozart’s professional quality music font; also, you can play them back via MIDI at the touch of a button. Maybe its more amazing feature is to import a midi file and bring to you the musical score.
This is an easy to use software if you are familiar to working with music and its notation, otherwise it will most likely be useless to you.
Available in several languages, it also supports menus, dialogs and instrument names.
