Zelda Classic Download

The Legend of Zelda (classic version) will take you back to 1986, where 8-bit internal speaker sounds and VGA resolution and colors were the latest technology. This game is an amazing clone of the original Zelda game, proving that a few people with imagination and superb passion can perform the job of an entire company.

Zelda Classic will keep you entertained for a long time, its timeless and perfectly replicated graphics will take you back to years when life was simpler and nicer. If you played the original game on your Nintendo back then, make sure you have a tissue near, just in case you feel melancholy and tears coming out once you begin to listen to that never-to-be-forgotten Zelda theme, remembering the sweet days when your mother used to say "Stop playing that already!".

The game's objective is the same as it has always been, to save Hyrule and rescue Princess Zelda from the wizard of evil, Ganon. Don't forget to upgrade your equipment, gather tools, get stronger and fight greed as you collect more and more Rupees.

One of the most amazing properties of this software is that if you do not wish to play the classic version (this means, old graphics and old sound), you can download different quests from the developer's site, all of which have much modern graphics, sounds and pleasant music.

Now, be aware of one little detail, this is not an emulator, you can't save the game at some random time, and it's very difficult at first to pass the initial enemies, and once you die, you'll go back to the beginning (this is an old-school game, after all), try not to get frustrated if you fail on your first few tries.
