Samantha Swift and the Mystery from Atlantis is a hidden-object game in which you are an archaeologist who travels around the world looking for treasures belonging to Atlantis. With every hidden-object game you play, you uncover a new treasure that will be placed in the museum for exhibition. The scenes have different items to find that appear on a list with different colors. Blue items require an additional tool to uncover them. Yellow objects are more valuable and they are listed as tricky crossword puzzle clues. On your first mission, you will find a scanner that is used to reveal the silhouette of a certain item. When you find it, you will be asked to select what level of difficulty you wish: adventurer or expert, and they have to do with the number of times you will be able to use the scanner. The game also provides hints, but these are very limited, since you have only one per level, but you can unlock more by finding lightning bolts in the scenes.
What is more, the game offers and addition mode called Hidden-object mode, but the latter is unlocked when you complete the whole adventure.
Regarding the graphics, they are very detailed and attractive. Sound effects are also excellent and the music is enchanting.
All in all, Samantha Swift and the Mystery from Atlantis is a very challenging and enjoyable hidden-object game that will surely attract many fans of this genre, specially advanced players.
