Downloading Book Transfer 2.0
If you are using a PC running Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7, you may wish to install the Book Transfer software and Book Wizard Reader. These programs make the process of identifying and copying titles easier by performing the following tasks:
- Announces preview of supported file types through the screen reader or plays audio
- Unzips archive files such as those downloaded from NLS and Bookshare
- Creates folders on the SD card
- Sends entire folders for the PC
- Converts most PDFs to text
- Adds Book Port Plus to the Send To context menu of the File Explorer
- Queues selected files for later transfer
- Sends a Digital Talking Book on CD
- Checks for software and firmware updates
