Downloading Latin Bible 1.0

In the year 382, Pope Damasus I commissioned his personal assistant, Jerome, who later became a Saint and Doctor of the Church, to translate the Bible from the original Greek and Old Latin texts to Sermo Vulgaris, or common Latin, as opposed to Classic Latin, the language used by most of the authors of the time. The aim was to create a more accurate and understandable version of the Scriptures. Bible Study Pro offers this historically important version of the Scriptures as a module for its program. Bible Study Pro is software for reading, studying and comparing different versions of the Bible. It has a very intuitive graphic interface that lets you navigate easily through the program. Included with the basic program is the King James Version of the Bible, as well as several commentaries and reference tools, such as dictionaries and other texts which can be used with any of the different Bible modules. For viewing the Latin version, you need to download the corresponding module from the developer's site. Both the core program and this module are completely free.
