Axsense NetTools Pro is a program for monitoring network settings and protocols on a computer. It is a multifunctional program that offers multiple options for managing and monitoring network settings.

The interface of the program is simple to follow. There are 11 menus located at the top of the window, with the help of which you can perform different operations with your network connection. There are different options that make network monitoring easier: NetWatch, NetStat, WinTools, Local Info, Network Scanner, Service and Port Scanner, TCP/IP Workshop, SNMP Browser, and some others like Traceroot, Lookup, Bandwidth, and NetCheck. The graphics are very clear and easily understandable.

The NetWatch module enables you to monitor response times of several hosts simultaneously. When the host is not responding or the connection is very slow, you are notified by e-mail or by means of a sound signal. The information about the connection to the host is shown in the form of a graphic chart. It can be then exported as a text, Excel or HTML file.

The NetStat option gives you information about the inbound and outbound connections and lists of open ports. The program offers also a network scanner. Using it, you can easily find all the nodes on a network by entering an IP range. The tool is also very helpful in locating trojans and spyware.

With NetTools Pro you can also test and locate TCP and UDP connections and troubleshoot different problems caused by them. This tool also allows you to send raw data to any port and then listen to it in order to see the incoming data.

The program is distributed as a free product, although a registration is required in order for you to use it for an unlimited period of time. The whole process is very easy and even the novice users can manage it.
