Wiztoo Monitor is a spy software able to listen to and analyze the traffic of a local area network (LAN). The software is composed of two parts:
-The packet monitoring - The sniffed network adapter can be local (an adapter of the computer on which Wiztoo Monitor is running) or remote (an adapter of the local area network). If the sniffed adapter is remote, the packets are diverted using an ARP spoofing technique. Spoofed computers still have normal internet access.
- The packet parsing - Once the packets have been catched, they have to be analyzed. Wiztoo Monitor understands e-mail protocols (POP3/SMTP) as well as MSN protocols and displays collected informations in a friendly way.
