MediaLooks Virtual Device Splitter is a professional tool for sharing a live source between several applications by splitting a single audio/video device into several virtual devices.
MediaLooks Virtual Device Splitter splits a single input stream (such as from a capture board, DV camera or webcam) into several steams and presents each stream as a separate virtual device. This allows to deliver the same content to several applications at the same time.
The application is based on Media Looks Multimedia Component Framework and makes use of the high-quality scaling and audio resampling technologies to optionally adjust the parameters of the output stream separately for each receiving application.
Use Cases :
- Split live video between several encoding applications, tune bit rate and resolution for each.
- Capture live video simultanioiusly with streaming.
- Use HDV camcorders with Windows Media Encoder, Flash Media Encoder and other applications.
- Use as audio-video synchronizer to ensure long-term stable performance.
Main Features :
- Select audio and video parameters for the input device.
- Specify output video and audio parameters separately for each virtual device instance (i.e. specify different input parameters for each encoding application).
- Internal audio/video synchronization to ensure long-term.
- Option to save video content in an uncompressed format (coming soon!).
- Mix images and text with the video output (watermark, time stamp, etc.).
