PlexTools Professional LE 3.1 will support your Plextor hardware by providing you with additional password security as well as delivering a complete set of recording applications and optical drive testing utilities to your computer. This program is provided with a graphical user interface that displays the command buttons for its featured applications in a toolbar for your convenience. The commands include Backup Maker, Password Protection, Beta/Jitter Test, CD+G (KaraokeCD), Video Capture and Audio Capture. Plextools Professional LE also supports reading and writing/copying of CD+G karaoke discs, which is unsupported by previous versions of PlexTools Professional. Using this set of applications, you will be able to produce, burn, and view your own multimedia and audio disks. The Backup Maker featured in the program provides you with an easy way to back up all your files, folders and directories, to disc, and you can schedule your backup projects for daily or weekly intervals. You can also schedule your Video Capture tasks and the Video Capture feature streams AV from Plextor Video Capture Devices, Webcams and DV Cameras to your hard disc. A Multimedia Player and an AudioCD Player are featured in the program and the AudioCD Player will also playback your CD+G (karaoke) discs as well as all others. Using the Disc Maker application you can create your own CD-Roms, DVD-Roms and burn existing DVD-Video images to disc. The program also provides diagnostic test functions in graphical displays and performs CD/DVD Read tests on your discs for any uncorrectable errors.
