Generate a csv report of disk usage that can be used to determine the directories consuming most disk space.
Features:
- Supports long paths and special characters in path names.
- Reports last modification timestamp in a smart way (gets rid of wrong dates).
- Skips junctions as they do not consume space.
- Directories sorted alphabetically in the report
- One exe only, no need to install, unpack and use
Running it is a childplay:
SizeReporter.exe .
During the run, it displays information on the console while generating the CSV report and error log file on disk.
The tool can be used in scheduled tasks or by scripts on a weekly base for example. The report contains the directories sorted alphabetically thus produces results that can be compared from run to run.
