PDF2PPT is a document conversion tool that transforms your PDF files into Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. It converts each page in your PDF document into an image that is then appended as a new slide to a PPT presentation. The result is a high-quality collection of slides wrapped up in the most widely used presentation format.
Though GhostScript needs to be installed in your system for PDF2PPT to work, no Adobe application is required to perform the conversion. The settings presented by the program will allow you to define accurately the pages that will be converted, the width and height of the slides to be created, and how the resulting images will be treated when it comes to quality (expressed in dpi) and color conversion (full color or monochrome). The processing time and the overall quality of the slides will largely depend on the choices you make at this step.
Regardless of the output quality, there is one thing that should be noted – any trace of accessible content that the original PDF might have will be lost in the process. The newly created presentation will be a collection of pure images, and any tagged text will be automatically transformed into a picture, thus making the PPT file completely useless for blind and visually impaired users.
